It now seems a long time ago when we didn’t have the internet. Today it is an integral part of our lives. Every now and then there is an online revolution that enhances the ease in which we can communicate with each other. It is fair to say that over the last few years Twitter has forever changed the way we spread information and contact people. Now you can find many successful businesses use Twitter as it is an easy and effective way for them to reach their customers, clients, and potential market.

It is important to remember that without customers you will have no business. Twitter allows you to converse with all of your customers instantly. Usually if you have an online company you will also have a mailing list with the details of your customer’s email addresses. This is an invaluable resource. There is no longer any need to send lots of emails that may often get directed to a recipients spam mail folder. Anytime you release a new product or change the prices of your goods you can let you customer base know. By using twitter you will save a lot of time and effort.

It can also be used so that you no longer have to be kept in the dark about the activities of your competitors. It is not so difficult to sign up to follow any other businesses tweets. If they suddenly announce a drop in prices then you will be able to find out immediately. Of course you shouldn’t follow there tweets in your own name as they may get wise to your snooping.

Twitter can also be utilized by any company to keep up to date with their suppliers. If you are involved with a wholesaler they may post information about new stock and promotions through their tweeter accounts.

There are some businesses that even encourage tweeter use between their staff as a way of coordinating office activities; it is cheaper than installing a telephone PBX system! Also by allowing the workers to use twitter it can create a harmonious atmosphere that is more productive.

It is no surprise that Twitter has millions of uses. It is now so popular that it has become an everyday form of communicating and will only continue to grow in its reach. If your business is not already using Twitter then it is about time you signed up so that you can improve your productivity.
