When you remove someone from a LinkedIn group, does it notify them?

I manage a LinkedIn group and I’m not thrilled with certain types of people being in that group (don’t worry, it’s not based on race/color/religion/sex, etc). When you remove someone from a LinkedIn group, does it notify them that they’ve been removed or no?

At the time of this answer, no notifications are sent out when you remove someone from your LinkedIn Group. However, if the member is active in your group, they will realize that they are no longer a member when they try to visit the group.

I hope this answer was helpful. Just as FYI, LinkedIn has a free training Webinar for LinkedIn Managers which might answer even more questions about LinkedIn Groups. See link below which shows you how to register for free training.
