Great Tutorial. I would like to see more Advanced Tutorials as well. This helped ALOT when the ball was in the rough. Made some impossible eagles and birdies with the help.
the box says 9ft because 9ft is where the ball is going to land… the other marker behind the 9ft is how far the ball is expected to roll.. you CHIP at 80% back swing for a perfect swing… their is a slight whip lash at the top of the back swing when you start your down swing that adds 20% to you back swing so if you want a perfect swing start you down swing at 80%
every swing type varies with over swing… overall if you over swing in the red it acts as a power boost… Over swing currently affects chipping the most followed by putting.. 80% only is not putting the ball a couple yards forward its the % needed for a perfect back swing ………..100% when chipping acts as a 120% swing
Your right …. but unfortunately its just the way the game is designed when it comes to chipping … I kinda look at it like the golfers holding the club lose so theirs sort of whip lash effect at the end of the swing..
Hi, awesome tutorial. However could you explain more about the power meter its so confusing. Isnt the whole idea that you should drag the backswing to end of the white line. If you aiming to a certain spot then the backswing meter should be adjusted to show what the perfect swing would be to hit that spot on the green?
I, too, am confused with distance/backswing relations… Does the swing meter take into account the full club power or how far you put the aiming icon? And if it’s the full club power, how is 80% only putting the ball a couple of yard forward?
