I received a lot of invitations about joining Linked in but never bother joining since I’m too lazy lol… I even don’t have twitter… maybe I’m so out of technology…. :) ) :) )

Darren is awesome in this. He’s like the only one who doesn’t do stuff “because it’s the 21st century”, or some other crap.

It’s all about the song at the end. I think that is the official Lined In song. “You gotta link yo’self to people, who don’t have a job, you gotta link yo’ ass up!”.

  • Lankychris

I am so glad they did this. LinkedIn is lame, I find facebook far easier for drumming up business.

What the hell is Linked In?

Sadly, the rich aren’t rich anymore. They are struggling just like the rest of us. It may get to the point one day where everyone may have their turn being a greeter at the local Wal-Mart.

the rich are very much still rich. they just may not be able to afford a new jumbo jet until next fall.

I guess you guys need to do more research on the site before you judge it. Linkedin is “it” the new thing to find a job. Create a profile, send those profile to jobs you are applying for. It is an all in one resume cover letter, letters of recommendation. All the major companies are using linkedin to research an applicant. i highly suggest you get “in”

Current TV is an independent media company led by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.

Ever feel like you are being propagated???

is this the irony of Internet?

  • BrokenFWD

true, but you also have to Combine that with physical contact and follow-up. so many people will apply online and off that it’s better if you meet them in person as well or know someone through that to work with it.

heck at my job which in itself is low ranking, the only reason I was hired was because I agreed to work any day and met the manager several times so she know who I was. that got me the interview I needed for it. so if that’s what one needs for a cashier higher up is way worse.

Or, we could get rid of Wal-Mart, which destroys communities, unions, and small businesses…

  • ychandra737

I actually found a job through linkedin. So it is not all that bad.
