How to Create a Tutorial Video with Pro Tools running – Using Quicktime and Behringer Xenyx 302


After fighting with a plethora of screen capture programs and never getting any of them to capture the audio correctly and in stereo, I picked up the CHEAPEST USB interface available – the Behringer Xenyx 302. I’m impressed by the little guy; it’s dead quiet, has a good mic preamp, and gives me EXACTLY that additional mixer that I need to capture both the output of pro tools (in stereo) and the microphone I am speaking into. The previous Pro Tools tutorial videos I posted had mono audio, which was not cool… Now it works, and here is a step-by-step of how I got it working.
