With social media being the hottest topic on the planet right now, it’s only natural that bloggers and webmasters of any niche can learn a thing or two from some of the social media talk boxes that fill the blogosphere. There are a surprising number of awesome blogs out there that focus on the social media world, and I’d like to take a few minutes to introduce some of them to you. Not often do I add links to my RSS feed, but the following blogs are definitely worthy of such reward. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!
Here we go, in no particular order:
Mashable
It’s hard to go wrong with the Masable crew. With many authors that specialize in everything from Twitter to YouTube, Mashable brings the latest and greatest to your feed reader. This is one of those blogs that I have to visit daily to catch the daily social media/social networking buzz. I’m sure most of you would agree that Mashable is probably the leading authority on social media (or at least one of top 3).

Chris Brogan
This social media guru has been blogging for years, and you can always find useful and fun social media updates and news in his corner of the web. Chris Brogan’s blog is extremely worthy of being in my feed reader. This guy does so much in the social media world that I’ll let you read about it yourself.

Scobleizer
Rober Scoble will definitely come up in a discussion about social media. While you won’t see the number of posts that you would on Mashable or others, when Scoble writes, you pay attention!

ProBlogger
Darren Rowse has created a massive community based around his Problogger.net blog. With articles that focus on bettering your blogging experience to the latest and greatest social networking tips, this blog literally has it all. Just hitting the front page of this blog will leave you with enough material for days. The best part? It’s all phenomenal. I love this guy.

Chris Pirillo
This guy is a social media pimp. He has a lot to brag about, and rightfully so. If you’re looking for social media updates and news, you must subscribe or visit this blog daily. You won’t be dissapointed.

CopyBlogger
There is way too much fantastic content on this blog, for the record. But if you get a few spare years to go through it all, I highly recommend it. The owner, Brian Clark, is a super smart dude with pleny of insight to share. I don’t know what I’d do without being able to visit such a respectable blog on a daily basis – oh wait, I would actually get some work done

TopRankBlog
While the posting schedule isn’t as busy as I would like, it’s still ok, as the content on this blog is worth waiting for. You can be assured to find top quality social media marketing advice on the Top Rank Blog.

DuctTapeMarketing Blog
This blog is all about the small business marketing segment, and with social media dominating that sector, you’ll find loads of helpful posts that deal with social media marketing. Tons of great content, and John Jantsch is a highly respectable class act of a dude. You should definitely be following this one.

ReadWriteWeb
You can find a mix of different topics on ReadWriteWeb (all of which are worth reading), but the social media articles they produce are top notch. You’ll find a generous amount of social media news and advice on this blog.

PR 2.0
I absolutely love this blog, so don’t think any less of it because it is last on the list. I may have just saved the best for last
Seriously – if you’re curious about cutting edge social media revolution that’s currently taking place, and how it affects marketing, PR, media and everything in-between, you should start reading this blog ASAP. I actually get that funny feeling inside when I land on this blog in the morning, as I know Brian Solis will provide me with high quality reading material.

There you have it, folks.
Sure, there are more blogs out there that could fit into this list, but the ones listed above are personal favorites of mine and I fee very comfortable recommending them to anyone with interest in the social media community. Also, what I really like about all of these is that the articles are so easy to read I could send them to my Grandma and she could probably understand them, which is important, especially for all of the thousands of people becoming interested in social media by the day.
Of course, if you have any to add, feel free to recommend them in the comments below. Let me know what I missed!
Great list of blogs. I am already a fan of most of them, but their were a few I wasn’t familiar with. Thanks for pointing them out
The best information i have found exactly here. Keep going Thank you
Hi,
thanks for the great quality of your blog, every time i come here, i’m amazed.
black hattitude.
MSI laptops are very high quality. They are as not bad as if not good than ASUS build quality. I do knowing that most of the distributors that sell MSI are very good and reliable. msilaptops.net is my personal favorite, they are very enlightened and can help you with any questions you have.
