10 Freakin’ Awesome Firefox Themes You Need To Try

firefox logoI’m willing to bet that 7 out of 10 people reading this are currently NOT taking advantage of all the awesome different themes available to Firefox users. It’s just one of those things that you never think about doing while you’re actually on the computer, and the cool thing is that it literally takes seconds to make the change.

Aren’t you tired of the same old default Firefox look? It’s 2009 people, change it up! It will actually make the internet more fun, seriously. Sometimes a subtle change of pace can make all the difference in the world productivity wise.

Below, I’ll highlight 10 of my favorite Firefox themes that you can pick from. If you’re weird and don’t like any of the themes below, here is a link to a large database full of them. Enjoy!

10 Awesome Firefox Themes You Should Try

NASA Night Launch

This one holds special to my heart. As a youngster, I lived literally within about 10 minutes of Cape Canaveral, so I was all about space, space ships, launches, and everything else space related. Seeing a night launch is an extremely rare sight, and honestly I can only recall one of them. It’s a fascinating sight that everyone should see (the shuttle lights the night sky up like the sun). This theme sort of brings back those memories.

1

Aquatint Black

Okay look, I have a thing for black themes. You know what they say, once you go black….anyway, yeah, here is another sweet black theme that looks pretty sharp.

2

Noia 2.0 (extreme)

Not exactly sure what’s so extreme about this one…but I do enjoy the buttons and the overall look.

3

ACE Safari Foxdie (Blue)

For all you Mac geeks out there, I thought I would throw in this sweet Safari theme. I’ll admit, this one is nice, and often occupies my browser. Very clean and easy to read.

4

Aero Fox

Another black theme, I had to post this one because of its popularity. With almost 10 million downloads, they’ve obviously done something right.

5

A Blue Fox Theme

The title pretty much sums it up. It is a pretty neat theme, though. It’s also available in many other colors.

6

Walnut for Firefox

If you’re into the wooden look, this is one of the best wooden themes available. This one is also quite popular, so there must be a lot of wood theme enthusiasts out there.

7

Mushroom Kingdom

You know, at first I thought this was too corny to feature, but after installing it and checking it out, it’s actually really cool! Gotta give love to the old-school. Pay extra attention to the scroll bar.

9

Blu Canidae

Since blue is another favorite color of many, this theme (a blue version of iFox) should fulfill your blue cravings.

10

Lava Fox

What a sexy theme. Lava Fox holds true to its name with plenty of cool lava animation and overall great looking appearance. The various menus look super slick. Give this one a try.
